On March 31, the House Subcommittee on Immigration Policy and Enforcement held hearings concerning the H-1B visa. The hearing was entitled
“H-1B Visas: Designing a Program to Meet the Needs of the U.S. Economy and U.S. Workers,” and can be viewed on the House’s website.
Speakers at the hearing included:
Former INS General Counsel (1999-2003)
Associate Professor of Public Policy
Rochester Institute of Technology
Additionally, USCIS Official Donald Neufeld was one of the speakers at the hearing, and discussed USCIS’s efforts to root out immigration fraud, and to improve the H-1B program.
